2008 Richmond Chapter Scholarship Winner Announced
The Richmond Chapter of the Virginia Society of CPAs is proud to congratulate Erica Lynn Ellermeyer for earning the 2008 Accounting Excellence Scholarship awarded by the Richmond Chapter.
Ellermeyer graduated from Patrick Henry High School in June 2008 and will enter The University of Richmond in the fall of 2008. Ellermeyer maintained a 4.5 GPA and was actively involved with the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) where she held the office of vice-president for the past two years. Ellermeyer was a member of several academic honor societies and Varsity team captain of Patrick Henry’s Tennis Team this past year.
Ellermeyer represented Patrick Henry High School and the J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College Region at the Virginia State FBLA Leadership Conference, where she placed third in the area of personal finance. Ellermeyer has been involved with the Future Business Leaders Association through active community service work with the Patrick Henry Promise program and organizing activities for special needs students at Patrick Henry High School.
After completion of college, Ms. Ellermeyer would like to begin her professional career in public accounting where she would like to experience the many aspects of accounting before determining if a field of specialization is in her future.
The Richmond Chapter of the VSCPA is proud of Ellermeyer's accomplishments and looks forward to her joining the CPA community.
