Richmond Chapter Scholarship Winner Announced

 

The Richmond Chapter of the Virginia Society of CPAs is proud to congratulate James Zachary Helmintoller for earning the 2007 Accounting Excellence Scholarship awarded by the Richmond Chapter.

 

Helmintoller graduated from Patrick Henry High School in June 2007 and will enter Virginia Tech in the fall of 2007. Helmintoller maintained a 4.0 accounting GPA and was actively involved with many organizations at Patrick Henry High School, including the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) where he held the office of treasurer. Helmintoller represented Patrick Henry High School and the J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College region at the Virginia State FBLA Leadership Conference in Reston, VA on March 31, 2007 in the Advanced Accounting competitive event. Helmintoller placed second in the Advanced Accounting   competition. Helmintoller   has been active in community service work through fund raising events and most recently with organizing the Relay for Life event that was held at Patrick Henry High School this year.

 

After completion of college with the aspiration of a Master’s Degree from Virginia Tech. Helmintoller wants to obtain his CPA license and begin his professional career in the area of public accounting.

 

The Richmond Chapter of  the VSCPA is proud of Helmintoller's accomplishments and looks forward to him joining the CPA community.
